December 6th General Meeting

In the spirit of the Holidays, we would like to make this evening a time to relax, enjoy a beverage and some goodies and informally chat with each other. The only business we will conduct at this meeting will be the collection of gifts for Elgin Mental Health Center. A room and support group leader will be provided for those folks who would rather meet as a support group. Hope to see you in December.

The Gift of Caring This Christmas

To continue the tradition, we are once again asking for your help to brighten the holiday season for patients at Elgin Mental Health Center by providing gifts at Christmas.

Thanks to the generosity of volunteers and concerned people of the community each patient did experience the joy of being remembered with a gift last Christmas. With your help we are hoping to make this holiday as happy.

A NAMI-MC volunteer will pick up your gifts at our December 6 meeting. If you are unable to attend the December 6 meeting, you can deliver any gifts directly to the Volunteer Services Department at the facility, 750 South State Street, or phone 847-742-1040, ext. 3369.

If you wrap gifts, please add a label stating what the gift is, if for a man or woman and the size if applicable. Please be aware that no glass is allowed, including mirrors as well as no aerosol containers.

Gift Suggestions:
For Men
Sweaters, inexpensive watches, gloves, CDs, socks, caps, slippers, T-shirts, sweat
